Because of this, a day pass cannot be confirmed until a few weeks before the desired travel date. In case a day pass is needed, we will have to request this through our wedding planner to collect all necessary information. There are two types of day passes: 1) A regular day pass from 9am-5pm. $180 per person. 2) A full day pass from 9am - 10pm. $250 per person.
Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors on the resort grounds at Secrets Akumal Riviera Maya. If you’re considering staying off property, please let us know ahead of time so we can coordinate with our wedding planner. The resort requires a $𝟗𝟎 𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧 event pass for off-property guests, which includes access starting one hour before the ceremony through the end of the reception.
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Please see the 'Dress Code' tab for inspiration.
We're so excited to celebrate this special day surrounded by our closest family and friends. As we're keeping it intimate, only those formally invited on your wedding invitation can be accommodated. If you have a plus one, it will be noted on your invitation and when you RSVP.
While we love your little ones, Secrets Akumal is an adults-only (18+) resort. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together.
To ensure we are fully present, we will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We kindly ask that you turn off/silence all phones during the ceremony. However, once the ceremony ends, feel free to take as many pictures as you like during cocktail hour and the reception!
