We're Getting Married

We met at a college mixer at SUNY Cortland, where a casual conversation somehow led to homemade chili at Antonio’s apartment and the start of wanting to get to know each other better. Before we knew it, we were spending most of our time together, and despite having many differences, it was clear we were a great match. We began dating in May of 2019. Antonio was hooked, often telling Morgyn she was “the most charismatic person” he’s ever known, while Morgyn quickly realized her life would never be boring with Antonio in it. When 2020 hit our relationship was put to the test. Long distance became our reality while Morgyn was beginning graduate school and Antonio got his first job teaching in the Bronx. Despite having to deal with what felt like the world shutting down while we each started new chapters in our life we continued to make it a priority to see each other. We took every chance we could get to be with each other and continued to cheer on each other from afar as we started our careers. Then in the spring of 2022 Antonio spontaneously decided to take a job in Albany to be closer to Morgyn. We moved in together in August of 2023 and continued to build our lives together. In August of 2024 Antonio took Morgyn to Skaneateles, NY and proposed in the same location where we had our first date years prior. Saying “yes” was the easiest “I do” ever. Now here we are, taking on life’s next big adventure: Planning a Wedding Together.
