If you're going to stay at the lodge with us, you are set! We have payed for 60 guests to stay in all 16 rooms of the lodge from Friday, October 14th at 4pm to Sunday, October 16th at 10am. So, we recommend you stay at the lodge with us. If you'd like a little more space though, please see the "Lodging" page on this website.
We have a strict guest list due to the size of the lodge. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.
While we both love all of our family, young and old, we want our wedding to be a fun weekend off for everyone. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
We kindly ask that you RSVP by Sunday, August 7th. If you have not RSVP'd by this date, we will assume that you will not be attending.
Anything from dressy casual (khakis, polos, dresses of all lengths) to black-tie (tuxes, formal gowns) is acceptable!
October in Kentucky usually has highs in the mid-60s (average of 67) and lows in the high 40s (average of 48). We aren't expecting rain, but always expect the unexpected! We suggest bringing clothing for both warm and cool weather types.
The ceremony will take place rain-or-shine outside, in the Daniel Boone National Forest. For that reason, we suggest that those attending not wear heals and bring a light jacket. The reception will take place inside at the Cliffview Lodge.
Due to its location, we're only able to invite 20 guests to our wedding ceremony. For that reason, only guests who received invitations specifically for the ceremony can attend it. On the other hand, every person who received any invitation at all is lovingly invited to the reception taking place the same day as the ceremony.
After the ceremony is complete, the bridal party will be taking photos in the Daniel Boone National Forest for about an hour or two. During this time, guests are encouraged to check out some of our recommended things to do and enjoy the natural beauty of the area.
If you've already RSVP'd yes and your plans change, please let either Jacob or Morghan know ASAP so we can plan accordingly.
There will be a full buffet dinner at the reception, including bread, salads, sides, main entrée, and desserts.
There will not be any transportation provided between the lodge and ceremony location.
The ceremony is not wheelchair accessible. The reception and lodging are though. If you need any kind of accommodations regarding accessibility, please let us know ASAP.
