Our Wedding Plans

We are so deeply happy to share the news that we will be married in an intimate ceremony in the presence of our immediate families in Austin, TX on June 17th, 2023.

As a couple, we knew that we wanted a small wedding. To pair this with the fact that our immediate families have never met, we have wholeheartedly chosen to be married in a small ceremony, with just our immediate family members present. And in what better of a place to be married, than in the city we love.

How We Met

A New Jersey guy and a Pittsburgh gal fell in love in Texas...

We met on the dating app, Hinge, where we spent an entire week messaging each other. Every night that week, we stayed up late texting about our interest in music and about things to do around Austin. That Friday night, we tried to meet up at Cosmic Coffee + Beer Garden. It was very packed, so we moved down the road to Crow Bar, where we talked at an outside table until midnight. We went back to Cosmic and got food truck tacos at Pueblo Viejo, and the rest was history!

Get To Know The Couple

Alexa, play Green Eyes by Hüsker Dü

We have been living together in South Austin for the past two years. We love waking up early together, and to start each day, we love drinking coffee on our deck while listening to music or to the Around The NFL podcast (go Jets & Steelers!). We love music, and some of our favorite bands include The Silver Jews, Pixies, The Breeders, Pavement, Pope, Ovlov, Stove, Big Star, Teenage Cool Kids, Ty Segall, and The Garden. Our favorite local Austin bands include Ringo Deathstarr, Rickshaw Billie’s Burger Patrol, The Boleys, and Buzz Electro. We love to cook, especially from cookbooks. Keith is excellent at cooking Korean dishes, and Erin loves to cook Mediterranean meals as they are anti-inflammatory for her endometriosis. We also enjoy eating at restaurants around Austin. Our favorite spots include La Barbeque, Texican Cafe, and Launderette. Our first National Park visit together was Saguaro National Park in Tucson, AZ, where we summited Mt. Wasson. This visit was part of a longer road trip we took together, which included stops in Marfa, Big Bend, Tucson, and Sedona. We are very excited to honeymoon to Mt. Rainier National Park!
