When should I rsvp by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by May 8, 2026, so we can plan accordingly for your meal and seating at the reception.

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 pm. Please plan to arrive around 4:00-4:15 pm to ensure that you have time to find your seat and settle in.

What is the dress code?

We are requesting cocktail attire, please.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, due to limited space at our ceremony venue, we are only able to invite children of family. Invited children will be listed on your RSVP.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate guests included on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, it will appear under your name when you RSVP.

Where do I park?

Answer

Our ceremony will take place in the Stephenson Chapel (not the main sanctuary) at First Baptist Church Decatur. The Chapel entrance is located on the Canal Street side of the church. For convenience, there is a parking lot on Church Street directly in front of the church, as well as additional street parking available along Canal Street and Lafayette Street. Signs will be posted to help direct you to the Chapel entrance. Our cocktail hour and reception will take place at The Witt House. A large parking lot will be available on site, with signage upon arrival to guide you. There is also a designated handicap and drop-off area for guests who need assistance.
