We’re Tying the Knot!

Morganne and Trevor had the same idea for a Saturday night, and that was going out with some friends. While out, Morganne approached Trevor’s brother, Dillon, in need of a game partner. Seeing Trevor for the first time, she just had to know who he was. After conversing here and there throughout the night, they eventually go their separate ways with those they came with. A few weeks later, they matched on Facebook Dating of all places, and the rest was history!

Trevor planned a surprise trip for Morganne months in advance to the Biltmore Estate during Christmas. Morganne was not allowed to know any details of the trip. She was only allowed to know to pack clothes for “family Christmas photos” and that we were going out of state for one night. Trevor went to extreme lengths to make sure Morganne did not know where they were, or where they were going, and even made her look down at the floorboard for periods of time during their time on the road. That is until they pulled into Biltmore. Trevor told her to look up, and she saw the sign. Morganne began to cry as she had wanted to visit Biltmore at Christmas for many years. It was also her dream proposal to have the big question popped at the estate, during Christmas time (Trevor really nailed it). They toured the grounds, enjoyed lunch on the property, and even shopped around. Trevor kept mentioning that he wanted to make sure they go to the overlook that shows the whole house. Morganne happily insisted that they would do so. While on their way up to the overlook, Trevor begins to express his feelings for Morganne, and she engages in the conversation with him. The two make their way to the top, and Morganne begins to take pictures. Trevor, on the other hand, gets into position to do one of the most nerve wracking ever things to do. As Morganne turns around from taking photos, she sees Trevor on one knee and is in complete shock! She says, “What’re you doing?!” Trevor, smiling from ear to ear, asks, “Will you marry me?” She joyfully replies, “Of course!” The two then celebrate by participating in a wine tasting on the grounds, and purchased a bottle that they are saving for the celebration after the private ceremony!
