It all started with an HDMI adapter...Travis was in need and Morganne had the solution. By now, Morganne had introduced herself to Travis twice before. Despite all odds, this was the first time Travis remembered meeting Morganne. After being introduced for a third time, they swapped numbers, but little did Morganne know that the next time Travis borrowed her adapter, he would ask her to lunch... Just as friends!! A few minutes into that lunch, Travis knew he wanted to ask Morganne on a date. The two got to know each other and dated throughout October and November before becoming a couple on December 3, 2022.

Morganne and Travis only had a week and a half together before the fall semester ended and they had to say their goodbyes. In January, Morganne flew off to Austria for the spring semester abroad. That semester, they spent countless hours on FaceTime and Travis wrote her letters from across the ocean. The two were reunited in the fall for two weeks before Travis needed to take the semester off and return to Texas. After a year of long distance, Morganne and Travis finally got to spend their junior spring together. The following summer, Travis secured an internship in Virginia which allowed him to visit the Neuharts on the weekends. The two returned to Franciscan for their senior year, but it was not long before they got upgraded to the status of fiancés!

On the feast of the Most Holy Name of Mary, Morganne and Travis had planned to go dancing. Secretly, Travis had decorated the chapel of St. Joseph's Monastery for the proposal. He gave the excuse of leaving his phone at the chapel earlier that afternoon so they would have to return. The two drove to the Monastery and went in to 'look' for the phone. Once inside, Morganne realized it was the moment she had been waiting and praying for. Travis got down on one knee and asked Morganne to marry him. Of course, she said yes! The two shared a slow dance before celebrating with their friends and family.
