We have 3 national parks here in Washington. North Cascades, Mt Rainier, Olympic Mountains. We LOVE the mountains. The month of May will still be a little early for snow melt and high elevation hikes, but let us know if you are looking to explore the mountains while you're here.

Washington State Ferries is the largest ferry operator in the United States. Walk or drive on to the ferry for a quick 30 minute trip to Bainbridge Island for lunch, shopping or wine tasting.
