On Morgan's first day of high school she was the "new girl," and several people told her about Malachi. They said, "watch out, he is going to try and date you." Not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing... But here we were as little freshman, dating, a couple weeks later. Let's just say that didn't last long... So we went our separate ways for a bit and it was the summer of 2015 when Morgan suddenly realized that Malachi embodied all the qualities she wanted in a best friend and partner. It didn't take long for us to rekindle our relationship that we once had. On August 26, 2015, Malachi asked Morgan to be his, and from then on we have been on a wonderful journey. Though it hasn't always been easy, we have grown to love one another so deeply and we can honestly say we are each others best friends. We are so grateful to be surrounded by constant love and support, and we are so excited to get married and start another chapter in our lives. Love, Malachi and Morgan <3

Morgan was headed to Malachi's house on Saturday morning to "go to a farmer's market." Before getting in the car, Malachi told Morgan he had to show her something. We began walking down the road, headed towards the pine trees and he pulled out a sheet of paper. He started reading, "we have been together for 209,520,000 seconds, 3,492,000 minutes, 58,200 hours, 2,425 days, 80 months, 6 years + 7 months + 21 days. We've been to 21 states together and 5 countries. Malachi printed off one picture from every month we've been together, and nailed them to every single tree. As he played music, we walked down memory lane through the trees, reminiscing all the special moments we've experienced together. Once we got to the end, we came out of the trees, where a beautiful circle of tulips were planted. Malachi got down on one knee and asked Morgan to marry him- the rest is history!
