What precautions are being taken for COVID-19?

With the safety of others in mind, we highly recommend getting tested 72 hours prior to July 16th. How many people will be attending?

Answer

Unfortunately we are currently operating under the capacity restrictions imposed by the state of NY due to Covid-19. In order to follow these guidelines and to ensure the health and safety of everyone, we have had to limit our guest list.

What if I don't feel comfortable attending?

Answer

As much as we would love your presence, we completely understand! We hope to be able to celebrate with all of those unable to attend at a later date. Your health and safety are most important to us!

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors at the lower falls of the Taughannock State Falls Park at 5 o'clock in the evening. This is right next to the Inn, which has a private walking path to the falls. Cocktail hour will begin immediately after at the Inn at Taughannock, followed by the reception. The reception will take place indoors at the Inn at Taughannock. Guests are free to move about indoors and outdoors as we have rented out the whole property. The Inn has a wrap-around porch and patio accompanied with a firepit.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Answer

Kindly note that transportation will not be provided to and from the Canopy by Hilton to the Inn at Taughannock. Free parking is available at the Inn for all guests. The State Park where the ceremony will be held charges $8 for anyone to park within its property. The State Park also does not reserve parking spaces for events as it is a public park. The Inn highly recommends that all guests park their cars at the Inn and use the Inn's private pathway starting in the wedding garden to enter the State Park below. It is about 400 feet to the lower falls ceremony location from the Inn.

Will there be a morning after breakfast?

Answer

The Inn offers a complimentary continental breakfast that is served in the dining room daily from 8AM to 10AM. We also invite any guests who are not staying on the property to join as well. This is available to all guests throughout the weekend stay.
