Supporting Actors and Actresses

Savannah Morgan

Matron of Honor

Savannah is Maggie's Sister (in Law), married to her brother Grayson. Savannah is a realtor, mom, friend, and the best possible bonus sister. Maggie is especially thankful for another girl in the family to be on her side. She is independent and determined, which is part of why she is successful in most everything she tries. In her free time you can find Savannah reading a book that probably involves dragons, listening to Taylor Swift, vehemently cheering on her alma mater- NC State, taking adorable pictures of the baby, or passionately competing with one of the Morgan men in a game of pickleball or pong. Savannah is the strong and proud mother to the treasured baby of the family, Palmer. She is a friend to everyone and loves meeting new people. She prides herself in being a conversationalist on long flights and car rides and she boldly promises to make sure everyone is having fun. So, if you find yourself bored, you know who to find!

Dustin Jutras

Best Man

It is a common misconception that Dustin and Hunter are twins. The older brother of two years, Dustin is Hunter's other half and best friend since diapers. The two have been inseparable their whole lives and adulthood hasn't stopped them from constantly sticking together. Growing up they shared baths, toys, and birthday parties, and as adults—college, a workplace, friends, runs, hopes, and dreams. The two have perfectly balanced energies, incredibly similar running ability, and a knack for annoying their partners. Dustin's trailblazing attitude has inspired Hunter's hobbies and aspirations, and his willingness to help has seriously aided Hunter's academic and professional careers. Dustin and Hunter will continue to adventure together long beyond their loss of leg function, brought on by the countless miles they've run in tandem. They may not be "real" twins like Austin and Maggie, but are about as close as you can get.

Austin Morgan

Man of Honor

Austin is Maggie's twin brother and naturally, first frenemy. He embodies the "typical" youngest child. He is passionate, energetic, and sometimes reckless. Austin has always been popular, but never declined being Maggie's partner on APUSH or AP Government assignments in high school, despite having many cooler options. Maggie and Austin did almost all of the same things at the same time, despite different levels of interest (and skill). They played soccer, ran track, swam, babysat, learned to drive, lifeguarded, and went to "parties" together. In college they went their separate ways but the twin bond never goes away. Austin now lives with his partner Andie in North Carolina and never hesitates to brag that the weather is slightly better in that region. He now enjoys working out, cooking meat, traveling, spending time with Andie, and talking to her dog, Tilly, in a baby voice.

Heather Glasgow

Groomswoman

Heather is Hunter's big sister of thirteen years and one of his biggest role models. She's shown him what it means to be caring, self-assured, and hard-working. Whether she's all the way in Georgia or a much more manageable 40-minute drive away, Heather has always been there for Hunter as he's aged. Her artistic prowess always inspired him, as a kid who loved to draw and make things, though she is certainly more crafty and confident with a brush than he is. Not to mention, she and Hunter's brother-in-law Josh, gave Hunter four of the most witty, genuine, and incomparable nieces and nephew. Through them, Heather continually impresses with her ability to parent with compassion, openness, and creativity. She'll always have Hunter's back, like when he turned 10 and she got him his first stick of deodorant. On wedding day, she'll be there to support him and make sure he doesn't stink or embarrass himself!

Grayson Morgan

Man of Honor

Grayson is Maggie's oldest brother and first role model. He is credited with helping Hunter and Maggie begin their relationship, thanks to his friendship with Dustin. Being the oldest, Grayson did everything first and Maggie followed, doing her best to meet the standards he set. Whether that be skim-boarding, lifeguarding at the local pool, listening to Pearl Jam, failing Classical Mythology tests, or going to George Mason to run on the track team. He was always the model student-athlete, leaving a good first impression for Maggie to follow (just don't ask the student-athlete academic advisor from his freshman year). Grayson now spends his free time hanging out with his daughter Palmer, fiddling with cars, surfing, running, sitting on the beach, building random things, and casually playing pickleball and pong with Savannah- but never "letting" her win.

Reid Sharkey

Groomsman

If Hunter were more sociable, he and Reid would've been best friends a couple of years earlier. Despite their many mutual friends in middle school, Hunter only knew Reid as the guy who always wore good band t-shirts. Entering high school, Hunter begrudgingly joined the cross-country team and the two quickly connected over running and music. Though he briefly abandoned Hunter to go to a different college, Reid eventually got it together and joined Hunter as teammates again in grad school, where they continued the trend they started when they were 14—running PRs within seconds of each other and having a great time. Their closeness has remained through the years though, allowing them to run, mosh, disc, and even live together. An ocean between them couldn't stop these two from doing everything together.

Cate Jutras-Stone

Groomsmaid

Cate is a friend to Maggie and Hunter who also happens to be married to Dustin. She and Dustin began dating within the same exact month as Maggie and Hunter. This meant that the four spent, and continue to spend, a lot of time together. The group quickly learned that Cate shares almost all the same food intolerances and interests as Maggie, making her the perfect sister-in-law and friend. She is kind, thoughtful, creative, and a vessel for both useful and completely random facts. She is a highly skilled craftswoman and an interior designer by trade. Cate is naturally athletic, evidenced not only by her successful track career, but by her sheer prowess on the arm-wrestling mat (Cate: 1, Hunter: 0). In her free time Cate enjoys reading, running, watching Formula 1 races, dominating the Beer Can Soccer field, decorating her home, hanging out with her dog, Archie, and doing her best to keep Dustin from taking unnecessary risks.

Amir Shahbazi

Groomsman

In middle school, Amir jovially asked Hunter if he wanted to walk home from school together after a mutual friend informed him of their similar routes. Hunter reluctantly accepted, not knowing he gained a best friend that day. Hunter quickly convinced Amir to join his soccer team and eventually Hunter convinced Amir to join their high school track team. Today, the duo continues the tradition of convincing each other to do things, though with much less tomfoolery than in the past. Their attempts to become actual brothers have proven quite successful, with their dads coaching their soccer team together, and effectively sharing their mothers. Amir and Hunter currently live together, but unlike their sleepovers from their teenage years, they try to avoid staying up until dawn.

Megan Paul Courter

Bridesmaid

Megan is one of Maggie's oldest and best friends. The two met on the track team in high school and soon became inseparable. They went to every school dance in the same group, sat next to each other on every bus ride, and completed every run and half-run/walk in the woods together. After graduation Megan went to school four hours too far away but never hesitated to come home and visit Maggie when she had the chance. Megan has always been wise, kind, and patient. She was every parent's ideal best friend for their teenage daughter. She is a steady voice of reason, one that Maggie has often benefited from. These days Megan enjoys taking walks with her dog Nora and husband Robbie, crafting, reading all the books, running, cheering for The Birds, and sitting in a comfortable silence with her own thoughts.

Iman Garzan

Groomsman

Iman and Hunter met when they played all-star soccer together in the 2nd grade. Hunter barely remembers that, so as far as he's concerned, their friendship began in 4th grade when politely reminded about their time together in all-stars. After their reunion, Iman, his twin brother Omid (also an all-star), and Hunter all quickly became best friends and bonded over their similar interest in sports, games, and music. Their bond continued through middle and high school, when Hunter and Iman decided they'd only sign up for cross country if they had each other. No one could have predicted how much this agreement would change Hunter's life! Even though Iman realized that long-distance running wasn't his thing, he found his niche on the track where they continued their deal. And though it's been several years, their sleepovers of scary stories, home videos, and bicycle riding still feel like yesterday.

Lauren Lewis

Bridesmaid

Lauren is one of Maggie's oldest and best friends. She and Maggie met on the high school track team. The two ran almost every race together, often going back and forth on who came out on top, and continue to enter races and events together to this day. Lauren is determined and hardworking in everything she does. She is an adventure-seeker. She and Maggie share a common "it'll work out" attitude when it comes to adventure. The two spent a week and a half together driving around Colorado, sleeping in a Toyota Corolla, climbing mountains, and eating spam and protein bars because they forgot cooking fuel. Lauren continues to seek out "fun" and challenging adventures for Maggie and Megan, which often include strenuous hikes that she has no problem completing in record times with or without a sprained ankle. Lauren is now an elementary school teacher who loves working out, reading, camping, spending time with her partner Jonathan, and exploring new places- especially parks.

Louisa Whittingham

Bridesmaid

Louisa is Maggie and Hunter's most British friend. She and Maggie became best friends when she traveled to the states to join the GMU track and cross country team. They quickly hit it off and ran, went thrifting, and attended parties side by side. Naturally, that meant Louisa also became Hunter's bestie. Despite the whole ocean in between them, Louisa and Maggie have been on many adventures together, big and small, with whatever time they had available. They spent a week traveling the PNW in a camper van, one of Maggie's favorite trips of all time, where they hiked mountains, drank caffeine, and took freezing cold showers. On another occasion they dragged the boys along for a quick weekend trip to Zion and the Grand Canyon. They share a love of otters, podcasts, gluten free food, and cringey Instagram Reels. Now permanently back across the pond, Louisa continues to run, hike, travel, cook delicious food, and watch Love Island.

Maggie Larkin

Bridesmaid

Hunter won the competition of being friends with Maggie first while running on the high school track and cross country teams together. However, when she transferred to George Mason Maggie and Maggie seamlessly became best friends, in particular thanks to her boyfriend, Devin, and Hunter's friendship. To make things easier for those around them, they not only shared a name and ran on the same team but lived together, worked together, and took the same ASL classes. They spent many nights watching The Bachelor, laughing, and preparing lesson plans. Living only a few metro stops away from each other, Maggie and Maggie enjoy being mischievous and the life of the party together to this day. Maggie is a special education teacher, runner, and unofficial comedian. She is kind, patient, and energetic. Life, especially Maggie and Hunter's, would be boring without Maggie Larkin.

Carina Garcia

Bridesmaid

Carina joined Maggie's cross country training group in their last two years of college which meant they spent a lot of time riding the pain train together. After a few days they realized they had very similar interests—Harry Potter, National Parks, true crime, Trader Joe's, and chocolate. They quickly formed a friendship and Carina even stayed friends with Maggie after she accidentally spit on her during a workout. Since then they have lived together, gone on some eventful vacations, eaten lots of ice cream, been late to almost everything ever, and run some challenging races. The two have many future adventures planned, they just have to get organized enough to do them. Carina is an intelligent, tenacious, and caring individual, and one day she will be a great doctor. She currently spends time studying, being a TA for med students, running, hanging out with her partner Dawson, and always remembering to respond to the group chat by the end of the day.

Ciara Adam

Bridesmaid

Maggie met Ciara during her first year running for the George Mason Cross Country team. Ciara was much faster than Maggie at this time, so they did not run together often. Despite this, they formed a friendship. This friendship strengthened over every coming year as the two began to practice together every day. They soon began sitting next to each other on every bus ride to meets and were known to perform an entire grocery haul during "lunch" stops. They shared a love of coffee, food, thrifting, and childlike fun. From dancing with umbrellas in the rain, to being bridesmaids in each others weddings, Maggie and Ciara have shared countless happy memories together. Now, Ciara is a dedicated wife and mother of two who still loves to run, cook, drink coffee, and have fun. She remains the kind, patient, determined, and silly person that made most of Maggie's college years as great as they were.

Amber LaFemina

Bridesmaid

Maggie met Amber during her official visit with the George Mason Cross Country team. Amber was quiet but sneakily funny. From then on Maggie and Amber began spending more time together on and off the track. During long runs they talked about their dream weddings with their boyfriends, who are now their husbands. Amber showed Maggie what it meant to have fun with running and to keep a healthy relationship with the sport. She was not only a role model as an athlete, but she was and is a sincere and thoughtful friend. Since college the two have spent time drinking coffee, talking about common interests, being bridesmaids in each others weddings, and following along on whatever hobby their partners are mutually enjoying at a given time. Amber is now a new mom who enjoys spending time with her little family, running, drinking coffee, and embroidering beautiful personalized pieces of art.
