We met during our freshman year at the University of Kansas, living just three doors down from each other in the dorms. What started as a friendship quickly turned into something more as we began spending more and more time together. Our first real date took us to Kansas City, where we spent the day exploring and getting to know each other beyond campus life. From that day on, we have been partners in every sense of the word. Through college, a year of long distance while Bennett was in grad school and Lisa was in Omaha, and eventually reuniting in Texas, life has always felt right when we are together. These days, we love discovering new food spots, going to concerts, and spending quiet nights at home with our dog, Steve. It has been a journey built on laughter, good music, teamwork, and a lot of great meals, and we cannot wait to keep writing the story together.
