We met at my old work due to me working with his sister. He came to bring her something at work. I had just gotten off. We all sat around while his sister, Kara, was telling funny stories. We sat around for about an hour laughing our butts off and I went home. Next thing you know I had a message request and friend request on Facebook and of course it was Jake. He had asked Kara my name and of course the rest is history.

We had been talking about getting engaged for awhile, we decided to go looking at rings so he could get a feel for what i liked. We went to a little jewelry store in Waynesville and I found a ring I was in love with. Jake then said “well let’s get it”. I looked at him like he was crazy. I said “but we don’t have the money”. He then told me he had been putting money back for a while for a ring that I loved.
