What is the attire?

Answer

Semi-formal If wearing straps or a backless dress bring a sweater or shawl to wear in the church during the ceremony. Tie optional for the men.

Are children allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately, no. With a few exceptions for the bridal party and immediate family, this will be a child free wedding. We love the little ones but would love for you to dress up and have a nice evening with no additional responsibilities.

Is the reception an open bar?

Answer

Yes, it is open bar. Per our contract with the venue, 0 outside alcohol is allowed.

Can non-Catholics receive Communion?

Answer

No, anyone who is not a confirmed Catholic can not receive communion. However, you may come forward to receive a blessing. Please simply cross your chest with your arms making an 'X' - hands placed on opposite shoulders. If you do not wish to come for communion, that is perfectly okay.

Are phone's allowed during the wedding mass?

Answer

We have a professional photographer and we request that phones be silenced or turned off during the wedding ceremony. Please enjoy the moment with us.

What's the weather like for Houston in January?

Answer

.....it's a toss up. Some Januaries are 75 and sunny, while others can be 50 and raining. We advise you check the weather leading up to it and we will update if necessary. Cocktail hour is outside, but if it rains we have a backup plan on site.
