Stauf's may be ranked the 3rd best independent coffee shop in the US but it's #1 in our hearts. Fun fact: Kenzie bought four pounds of coffee grounds from Stauf's prior to moving to Nashville and still has not found better coffee since.
The Book Loft is a German Village staple! With 32 rooms of books and a cozy garden entrance, it's easily one of our favorite shops to visit. If Sydney is lost, you will likely find her here.
Lindey's is a fantastic steakhouse in the heart of German Village. We recommend brunch on the patio if the weather is nice. For dinner, order the beef tournedos (not to be confused with "beef tornado," Ryan's nickname in high school).
Sorry, grandma. Antiques is a bar with some of our favorite cocktails, also known for their sour beers. Try the Chesterfield for a delicious twist on an Old Fashioned.
Although not in German Village, it's worth the trip! Kenzie used to walk from her apartment in Brewery District to North Market every weekend in the summer to get Stauf's coffee and a Blocks (now Fox, not to be confused with Lox) bagel. Here you can find foodie favorites like Hoyo's Kitchen, Nida's Thai, and Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams. Make it a full adventure by walking along the Scioto Mile on your way back!
Northstar is one of our favorite Columbus restaurants for fast casual dining. We recommend the Village Salad and the Pimento Cheeseburger.
Pint House is the first bar Kenzie ever went to in Columbus. It's one of our favorite spots to grab a draft beer, some short rib nachos, and watch the Buckeyes play.
Ryan's favorite Columbus breakfast! Located in Short North Arts District, a Lox bagel sandwich is the perfect hangover cure before you head out of town.
