Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
There are limited street parking options and multiple parking garages close by. If you are driving to the venue, please be mindful of how much you consume in order to safely drive back to your hotel. We recommend Ubering or walking to and from the venue, due to the hotels being a relatively short distance from the venue.

What is the dress code?
Answer
We are requesting guests to adhere to a formal dress code. The entire event will take place inside, so no need to worry about the Midwest August heat. You are invited to wear any formal attire ranging from cocktail attire to black tie. This may include dress pants and button down or dress shirts with a tie, suits, or a tux; or floor-length gowns, elegant cocktail dresses, or dressy jumpsuits. The Wedding Party will be wearing a wine color (deep purple-red), so please avoid that color and of course white (or a floral pattern with mostly white).

Can I bring a date?
Answer
If you have a plus one it will be indicated on your RSVP. Unfortunately there is not room for additional guests at this time so if you have not been given a plus one, do not bring someone.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
The Iowa State Fair is August 7th through the 17th. If you are coming in from out of town, I highly recommend you go! It's a famous spectacle that happens at the fairgrounds every August and will be a full day of fun.

Is there alcohol?

We will be hosting beer, wine, and seltzers during the cocktail hour and dinner. Afterwards it will turn into a cash bar.
