Are kids/babies allowed?
Answer
Yes! However, please note that some music played may not be the most suiting for little ears.

What should I wear?
Answer
Semi-formal attire will be fine! Examples: Women: dresses, dress pants with blouse, or sun dress. Men: dress pants or nice jeans with button down shirt. For the bonfire after please feel free to bring casual clothes to change into!

What date should I RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than May 18th. We sent out invitations early to ensure people traveling had plenty of time to find lodging!

How will traveling and parking for the ceremony and reception work?
Answer
With not having lodging all in one place, most people will want to drive themselves. Also carpool is a great option! The ceremony is at 532 Dyer Brook RD, Dyer Brook Maine 04747. It is located in the field. Follow signs for parking. The reception is at our home, 661 North RD, Mount Chase Maine. There will be parking located just before our house on the left (look for signs). From there, we will have a shuttle (tractor and wagon) bringing guests up to the reception as it is a bit of a walk.

Have you reserved hotel blocks?

Unfortunately with living in a rural area we did not reserve any rooms. We did however include several places to stay under the "travel" section of this website. If you have any trouble please reach out to us and we will help you!

Is it okay to post wedding photos on social media?
Answer
Yes, although we kindly ask you not to post any of us, the bride and groom until after we have posted our own. Also, we want everyone to enjoy the celebration and being in the moment as much as possible so please refrain from posting any photos until the day after the wedding. We would love to see all of the great photos you do take! We will provide a link (so be on the lookout) for everyone to upload the photos to! This way it will be all in one location and we won't miss any of them!

Will the wedding be outdoors?

Yes! Please plan according for footwear as the footing will be on lawn and in a field.

Will there be an open bar?

As this is a backyard reception (a semi-elegant one at that), it is primarily BYOB (alcohol). We will however be providing a couple alcoholic beverages per guest (limited kinds)! ***Please drink responsibly***
