The truth is, our story began long before either of us realized it. All the way back within the halls of Maple Street Middle School, where two kids joined band and drum line, bringing us together before we had any idea what the future might hold. When we moved on to Loy Norrix High School, our paths stayed intertwined but at the same time we were worlds apart. We both began high school by joining the marching band. However, as the years went on we drifted further apart, ending with us graduating from high school as near strangers. We parted ways, with no idea that our story together had not yet ended. In late 2020, fate tapped us on the shoulder when we discovered we were living in the same apartment complex, Greenbriar. During a strange year, in a world that felt uncertain, something familiar and comforting resurfaced. We reconnected… and suddenly everything from our past made sense. On March 27th, 2021, we made it official. Our story had a new chapter. By July of 2021, we were packing boxes and moving into Coopers Landing, building a home and a life together. And soon, our love grew even bigger. On April 5th, 2023, we welcomed our beautiful daughter, Adeline, whose tiny fingers wrapped around our hearts forever. Then, on March 27th, 2024, the same date that marked the beginning of our relationship, we took another step forward and got engaged! A promise made, not just for now, but for every chapter to come. That year, on December 7th, 2024, we moved into our very first house. Our own home to fill with memories, warmth, and plenty of laughter. And a few months later, on May 27th, 2025, our family grew again when our son, Zayne Jr., came into the world and made our hearts even fuller. Now we look forward to September 5th, 2026, the day we’ll finally say “I do,” surrounded by the life we’ve built and the people we love. And after that? We’ll keep going. Growing our family, deepening our love, and enriching our lives with every new day. Because our story is already beautiful, but the best chapters are still yet to come.
