FINALLY

We met at Bowling Green State University in Fall 2010 outside of the dorm tower we both lived in. Fresh out of high school, Zack wasn't the best student and would spend his time playing basketball, staying up too late and smoking too many cigarettes outside of the dorm room. Seeing this, Morgan was smart enough to not want anything to do with him and they only remained acquaintances, occasionally seeing each other around the dorm building. However, mutual friends ensured that Zack and Morgan would end up seeing each other a lot at house shows and parties on campus later that year. Finally, in the Fall of 2011, they both ended up having the same Weather and Climate class and would spend tons of time studying together because Morgan was doing poorly. Due to their diligent studying, they both passed the class with flying colors, became extremely close, and started dating shortly afterwards. Awhile later, Morgan found out that Zack, in a classic sitcom move, was only pretending to be doing poorly so he could spend time with Morgan and help her pass. Things have been nothing short of perfect since.

Morgan's aunt and mother were in town to visit her for a weekend so they all went out to dinner. Little did Morgan know, Zack had secretly been planning a proposal for weeks. Being terrible at keeping secrets, the whole day Morgan could tell something was up, but she didn't know what. While at dinner, a bunch of friends gathered at the house to decorate the backyard for the proposal. The plan was to surprise Morgan with all her closest friends and family so they could have a big party after the proposal. Knowing this, Zack was being uncharacteristically quiet, but Mrs. Ward assured Morgan that it was nothing. While at dinner, Zack received terrible news: Mr. Ward and Sydney, a large part of the surprise, were held up on the train from the airport and were going to be late. When they all headed back to Zack and Morgans house Mrs. Ward loudly told Morgan they had to go in the garage which was also super weird. When Morgan walked into the backyard she saw for the whole yard decorated in streamers/balloons and a giant inflatable ring. She promptly turned to Zack and said "Is someone having a party here tonight?". Zack than asked Morgan to marry him under their grapevine and of course Morgan said yes. Then to Morgan's shock all her friends, even the out of town ones, came out of no where to surprise her and then to surprise her even further who should show up at the final hour, her sister Sydney and father. It really was the coolest proposal :)
