This will be a wedding themed after the Hobbits from The Lord of the Rings! If you want to learn more in advance and catch some of the references we’ll be making, we recommend watching the first Lord of the Rings film, The Fellowship of the Ring. That said, the day will be fun for fans and non-fans alike!
The dress code is cocktail. Though not required, Hobbit-themed costumes are encouraged! Think vests, suspenders, dirndls, and corsets. Please wear shoes, and please limit yourself to Hobbit costumes (i.e. we don't want to see you in a Gollum loincloth). It's okay to wear a white chemise or blouse as a part of your costume; just make sure that the majority of your outfit isn't white. We made a pinterest board, in case you need some quick visuals to get you started: https://pin.it/1766ZIoQN For more guidance, look up "How To Dress Like a Hobbit" by Rachel Maksy on YouTube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1l6sNEC0Ns If you still have questions about what to wear, feel free to reach out to us!
The ceremony and cocktail hour are scheduled to take place outdoors. The reception will be inside, and indoor spaces are available throughout the event.
We love your little ones, but this is an adults-only event. Any exceptions have already been discussed and confirmed in advance. We hope this notice gives you plenty of time to make any necessary childcare arrangements so you can celebrate with us. Thank you for your understanding!
Yes! There is on-site parking.
