Have you reserved hotel room blocks?

Answer

Yes, we have room blocks available at the Omni Hotel & Resort. Please use the link on our wedding page to book your room. The room rate included in our block covers a resort view room, but please feel free to upgrade to a beautiful ocean view room at your own leisure!

Can I bring children to the wedding?

Answer

Although we would love to celebrate with your little ones, we have limited our children invitations to family members only.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love to celebrate with everyone but due to venue capacity we ask you only RSVP for the guests included on your wedding invitation.

Where is the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will take place beachfront at the Shorehouse, located at the Omni Resort & Hotel on Hilton Head Island. Please reach out to any of the Omni staff if you need assistance finding the Shorehouse.

How do I get to the venue?

Answer

The Omni Hotel & Resort is located inside Palmetto Dunes on Hilton Head Island. If you have chosen to stay at the Omni the Shorehouse, where the wedding will take place, is easily accessible on the ocean side of the property. If you are staying elsewhere, you will access the Omni through the South Gate of Palmetto Dunes. Inform the gatekeeper you are attending a wedding at the Omni. If you pass the main entrance of the Omni Hotel, the south parking lot to the Shorehouse will be located on your next left.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both our ceremony and reception will take place outdoors under a covered beachfront pavillion.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony so our photographer Allie can capture the most precious moments of our wedding day for us without distractions. Please capture all the photos you can during the reception & make sure to send them to us to enjoy after our wedding day!

What should I wear?

Answer

Feel free to wear whatever makes you comfortable to dance the night away! Any cocktail style is acceptable. Our ceremony will take place under the covered awning at the Shorehouse so there is no need to brave the sand during our wedding celebration.

Do I need to bring cash for the bar?

Answer

We would love for you to take advantage of our full open bar immediately following the ceremony during cocktail hour. Once our reception begins please continue to enjoy complimentary beer & wine. If you would like to enjoy spirited cocktails throughout the entire reception, please bring cash.

What time is the reception scheduled to end?

Answer

In accordance with the Town of Hilton Head all outdoor events must end at 10pm. Those who wish to celebrate longer can do so at the XO Sports & Spirits inside the Omni Hotel.

If I am not staying at the Omni, can I still leave my car at the venue over night?

Answer

YES, we want you to get home safely if you choose to take advantage of our open bar. The Omni just asks that you return to get your vehicle by 10am Saturday morning.

Will there be a shuttle to and/or from the hotel?

Answer

A shuttle is not needed if you stay directly onsite at the Omni. However, the Omni Resort & Hotel does offer a complimentary shuttle to/from shelter cove if you’d like to explore food and shopping. If you choose to stay elsewhere you will have to provide your own transportation to/from the wedding/ceremony.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather is always changing in the fall on our little island! It could be as warm as 80 but as chilly as 50. Please keep an eye on the weather during the days leading up to the wedding to make a decision on what to expect.
