Colleen's Kitchen - A slightly upscale southern spot with some of our favorite food in town Dirty Martin's - A old school burger place that's been around 100 years. QUICK BITES Whataburger - One of the best Texas fast food restaurants. Get a Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit! Micklethwait BBQ - Tristan's favorite local BBQ (Usually we make the drive to Lockhart )

Deep Eddy Pool - One of our favorite local swimming holes. (Fantastic for kids!) Cidercade - A old school arcade where you pay $12 and get unlimited arcade games! Toy Joy Burnet - A toy store/ice cream parlor and candy store. This place is so cool! Common Interest Bar - A Seahawks bar that's a bit of a dive with a huge karaoke crowd The Bats! - It's Bat season! At South Congress Bridge, every night at dusk, MILLIONS of bats fly from under the bridge to feed for the night. It's an amazing spectacle. Bat Festival is also going on during this time with a bunch of live music performances!
