Welcome! We're so excited to celebrate our love with you. Here are a few guidelines to help everyone feel comfortable and respected at our wedding: Using Correct Pronouns: Many of our friends and family, including Morgan, are trans/nonbinary/queer and use different pronouns. Morgan’s pronouns are they/them. We kindly ask that you honor and respect these pronouns when in attendance on our special day. Please refrain from using gendered language such as wife, bride/brides, or ladies when referring to Morgan. If you are unsure of anyone’s pronouns, just ask! If you need any help using correct pronouns or understanding what gendered language is appropriate, please reach out to us. Creating a Safe Space: Our wedding is liberation-centered, reflecting our love and our community. While there will be familiar wedding moments, expect lots of non-traditional rituals and practices unique to us and our community. We want all present to feel safe, included, and celebrated, so we ask that you come with an open mind and heart. Thank you for joining us in making this a joyous, inclusive celebration! If you have any questions or need further clarification, feel free to reach out.
To ensure that we can provide an intimate and meaningful experience for our nearest and dearest, this will be an adults-only event. As we have limited space, we are additionally unable to accommodate plus ones unless your invitation is specifically addressed to you "and guest."
We want you to look and feel your best in your personal rendition of opulent and celestial creative cocktail attire. We suggest suits with dress shirts and ties (coat optional), cocktail or semi-formal dresses, or bold and playful dressy separates. Please do not wear pink as that is reserved for the couple. Guest attire that is sparkly, textured, or velvety in rich jewel tones is strongly encouraged. See the image above for inspiration.
Once you receive your wedding invitation, please RSVP by September 9th.
Guest parking is across the street from the park and next to City Hall. Hwy 102 (aka Main Street) is a busy road and thus The Ravington provides a uniformed police officer to assist with traffic crossing. There is Handicap Parking onsite.
We have a honeyfund registry! https://www.honeyfund.com/site/julo-friesen-11-09-2024
