We met in college while attending Friends Univeristy. We were both zoo science majors and share a major love for all creatures no matter how many eyes they have, how many legs, and how hairy. When I (Morgan) first met Tanner he was sporting a giant female tarantula. That tarantula now lives in our bedroom! I immediately thought Tanner was the cutest thing and even texted my friends back home in Independence about this cute boy I met. Tanner on the other hand took about a year and a half to come around to the idea that I was cute. In the meantime we were friends. I tried my best to always sit next to him and class and show him how cool I was, he told me about all his crushes. eventually, I became one of those crushes and right before Valentine's Day in 2020, he confessed his admiration to me with a giant stuffed dinosaur. A couple of weeks later I would take him to the emergency room (after he fell off a small ledge and cut open his chin) where I would ask him in the parking lot if I was officially his girlfriend. He said of course and now 5 years later we are getting married!
