We met in August 2021 through friends and had a classic Korean meal—black bean noodles and seafood soup. We had a nice time, but there weren’t any immediate fireworks. After coffee, we parted ways, not thinking much of it. A few days later, we met again for shabu-shabu. While talking, we realized we had just missed crossing paths in Gangneung—Suhwan was planning to visit his hometown in the next couple of days, and Morgan had just returned from there the day before. Then came a spontaneous idea: "Want to go back?" Suhwan asked. And with no big plans for the rest of summer vacation, Morgan figured, why not? The next day, we set off on a road trip. We camped overnight along the way, and somewhere between stargazing and late-night conversations, something changed. The sparks we hadn’t felt on our first meeting finally arrived. The next day, we continued to Gangneung, making sightseeing stops along the way. Even though the plan was for Morgan to have a solo trip, we ended up spending nearly all of our time together. By the time we drove back to Busan, we had made it official—we were dating. And in true adventurous spirit, we booked a trip to Jeju right there in the car. From that moment on, we were inseparable. Over the years, our love has been built on shared adventures—hiking through Korea’s national parks, traveling to Japan, Thailand, Vietnam, and eventually New Zealand, where we got engaged on top of a mountain after an unforgettable hike. Now, almost four years later, we’ve built a life full of love, laughter, and adventure, and now we have our dog HooChoo by our side. And we can’t wait to see what the future holds. 우리는 2021년 8월, 친구를 통해 처음 만났습니다. 함께한 첫 식사는 한국의 클래식한 조합인 짜장면과 짬뽕이었어요. 즐거운 시간을 보냈지만, 첫눈에 반하는 드라마틱한 감정은 없었죠. 커피를 마신 후 우리는 별다른 기대 없이 헤어졌습니다. 며칠 뒤, 우리는 다시 만나 샤브샤브를 먹으며 대화를 나누었습니다. 그러다 강릉에서 아슬아슬하게 엇갈렸다는 사실을 알게 되었어요. 수환은 며칠 후 고향에 갈 예정이었고, 모건은 바로 전날 강릉에서 돌아온 참이었죠. 그러던 중, 갑자기 떠오른 아이디어—“한번 더 갈래?” 수환이 물었고, 특별한 여름방학 계획이 없던 모건은 “그럴까?” 라는 마음으로 응했습니다. 그렇게 다음 날 우리는 즉흥적으로 로드트립을 떠났습니다. 가는 길에 캠핑을 하며 별을 보고 깊은 대화를 나누는 사이, 뭔가가 달라졌어요. 첫 만남에서는 느끼지 못했던 설렘이 찾아왔습니다. 다음 날 강릉으로 향하는 길에도 여러 곳을 들러 구경하며 즐거운 시간을 보냈습니다. 원래 모건의 계획은 혼자 여행하는 것이었지만, 결국 우리 둘은 거의 모든 시간을 함께 보내게 되었어요. 부산으로 돌아올 때쯤, 우리는 공식적으로 연인이 되었습니다. 그리고 우리의 모험적인 성격답게, 차 안에서 바로 제주 여행을 예약했어요. 그 순간부터 우리는 떨어질 수 없는 사이가 되었습니다. 그 후 우리의 사랑은 수많은 여행과 모험 속에서 자라났습니다—한국의 국립공원을 함께 다니고, 일본, 태국, 베트남을 여행하며, 마침내 뉴질랜드에서 잊을 수 없는 하이킹 끝에 산 정상에서 약혼까지 했습니다. 그리고 이제, 우리가 함께한 시간이 어느덧 4년이 다 되어갑니다. 사랑과 웃음, 그리고 끝없는 모험이 가득한 삶을 함께 만들어왔고, 이제는 우리의 반려견 후추도 가족이 되었습니다. 앞으로 펼쳐질 미래가 너무나 기대됩니다. 올해 4월, 우리의 결혼을 함께 축하해 주시길 바랍니다!
