National Mall
A landscape park hosting many famous attractions: The White House (just footsteps away from our wedding venue!), Lincoln Memorial, Reflection Pool, Washington Monument, Capitol Hill/Congress, Thomas Jefferson Memorial (worth the walk!), multiple Smithsonian Museums, WWII Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vienam War Memorial, and many more iconic landmarks!
Mount Vernon
George Washington's home/estate! A short drive from D.C., with a beautiful view of the Potomac River. Also, where we got engaged in September 2020!
Smithsonian Institution
Home to 21 museums and the National Zoo, which is one of Stacey's favorites. Another favorite is the American History Museum. There are plenty of options for everyone, and not nearly enough time to see them all!
Arlington National Cemetery
A 639-acre landscape that is a tribute to those who honorably served our nation. Many famous Americans are buried here, and it even has one of the best views of D.C. from Arlington House.
Georgetown Waterfront Park
With a multitude of restaurants right on the Potomac River, this area is walking distance to the Kennedy Center, the Watergate Hotel, and other famous landmarks in D.C. Fishers Farmers Bakers offers a relaxed atmosphere with great food!
Taffer's Tavern
From the T.V. Show "Bar Rescue" (one of Morgan's favorite guilty pleaures), Taffer's Tavern can be found immediately next to the Capital One Arena in historic Chinatown.
Yardbird Table & Bar
Yardbird offers Southern style cooking in a relaxing atmosphere. Their Chicken & Biscuits are great and make Morgan feel at home!
Georgetown Cupcake
From the TLC TV Show "DC Cupcakes" in 2010, Georgetown Cupcakes has some of our favorite desserts in D.C.!
Old Ebbitt Grill
Founded in 1856, The Old Ebbitt Grill is Washington D.C.'s oldest saloon located just down the street from The White House. Great food and a great atmosphere, one of our favorite restaurants in D.C.!
