A trip to Puerto Vallarta is not complete until you take a stroll down the famous Malecón! This colorful boardwalk is recognized worldwide as a lively hub of nightlife, activities, and restaurants. The Malecón spans about 11 blocks in the heart of Vallarta, near Zona Romántica, and is filled with local art, including sculptures, statues, and occasionally street performers.
If you continue south from the Malecón boardwalk, and cross the concrete bridge over the Rio, you will find yourself in the Zona Romantica. The beachfront of Zona Romantica, called Los Muertos beach features a contemporary metal pier that is a local tourist destination. As you travel this part of the beach, you will see many beautiful spots to stop for a drink, and many local merchants offering their wares.
Vallarta Adventures offers many different tours and activities, including snorkeling, zip-lining, four wheeling, sailing and more. They did a great job taking care of the Stewart family on a previous trip to Puerto Vallarta. We enjoyed the "Rhythms of the Night" activity, which combined an ocean cruise, dinner, and a show! It's a popular choice, and the #1 night show in Puerto Vallarta.
Vista Vallarta Golf Club is a golfing gem with two championship courses: the Nicklaus Course and the Weiskopf Course, designed by golf legends Jack Nicklaus and Tom Weiskopf. Combining the designers' signature styles with the region's stunning natural surroundings, each course offers a unique experience. Players will enjoy breathtaking views of Puerto Vallarta as the layout takes advantage of the area's elevation changes and tropical jungle.
