Flannery Egner

Maid of Honor

Flannery is my original frenemy. We didn't realize at 5 years old that we didn't like each other because we were too similar, but I'm glad we both came to our senses. Flannery has been my most steadfast friend, from debating on the Senate floor during Youth Legislature to starting our lives in DC together. She's the most positive person I know, an incredible chef, and at this point, should be training to be a sommelier. She will also be running the Hill one day, so our government is in good hands!

Madison and I got to know each other when I joined the cheer team in 8th grade. Thank the Lord we made it out of our awkward phases and have gotten to share so much of our lives. If you need to know anything about the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Miami, or the latest TikTok trends, she's your girl!

Kara Crawford

Kara and I ran home to Kappa Delta on bid day, and our friendship has grown from that point on. I am so grateful she chose to go to Georgetown for graduate school (#GENIUS) so that we could spend our early adult lives in the best city in the world. She can tear up a dance floor, knows every Taylor Swift song front and back, and will eventually be saving our country working in cybersecurity.

I was lucky enough to sit down at the same table as Grace and her family on our very first day of Summer Lott in 2017. After spending a month today at pre-college, we remained friends and ended up living together our freshman year. We did everything together, studying in the Honors College, pledging KD, and even serving on ASB Exec together. Somehow she is still one of my best friends after living together twice (she's a saint), and soon we'll be living only a short train ride apart. She's a Louisana queen, a rom-com aficionado, and an expert playlist creator.

Olivia Maurer

Olivia and I met because we both decided that doing the Honors College, Croft, and Lott would be a fun way to spend our freshman year. Olivia is one of the kindest, most supportive people you will ever meet. She's a musical theater pro, an expat living in Scotland, and an expert on pedestrian safety in urban planning. I'm so thankful for her friendship and for a reason to get her back in the States for a bit!

Lila Osman

Lila and I met because her older sister asked me to rush her with the context of "She wants to be President of the United States, too!" 4 years later, she is my little, one of my best friends, and the best person to have gone through all of the student government drama with. She can read my mind like no one else, and she is one of the strongest people I know. I've had the honor to grow up with Lila the last few years, and she's another friend that I'm so glad came to the Swamp with me.
