The Engagement
Morgan and Scott LOVE Asheville. For Morgan's 27th birthday they traveled to Asheville and went on a beautiful hike complete with waterfalls. Scott planned on going on the same hike and proposing to Morgan a little over a year later. Morgan was in charge of finding the same hike and....she failed. Morgan ended up leading Scott, Maddie, and Andy (a friend of Maddie's) on a treacherous hike...NOT the same one they had been on the year before. Although Scott had the ring and Vieux on standby, Andy ended up falling, spraining her ankle, and foiling Scott's plans. With the help of a random couple, the group made it up the mountain, but the proposal was put on hold. Scott improvised and ended up proposing at Sierra Nevada that same night to the background music of a local Asheville funk band:) Despite the fumble, they would not change their proposal story for anything!
