Feel free to rent a car if that’s your style, but it’s definitely not a must. The airport is just about 15 minutes from the city, and once you’re here, getting around is a breeze—Uber, streetcars, and good old-fashioned walking will get you where you need to go with ease (and a little New Orleans flair).
Hotel
We didn’t reserve a hotel block, but the good news is—New Orleans is full of great places to stay! Whether you’re into boutique hotels, cozy Airbnbs, or something more classic, there are plenty of options scattered throughout the city to fit every style and budget.
