Maid of Honor
Almost fourteen years of friendship. Morgan and Deja went from singing at the top of their lungs in the hallways of their middle school, to the lines at Disney World, to the park late at night at Acworth Beach, and now to Morgan’s wedding night. If there’s singing and dancing, Deja will be there! Morgan and Deja are the type of friends that text every day and, when they finally hang out, love to chit-chat for hours on end.
Best Man
Sami and Paul have known each other since middle school, and in the years since, have gone through so much together. Nothing is off the table when these two are within speaking-distance of each other, but it’s what makes them so close. Going from Friday Night Lights in high school to planning annual football trips as adults is just one of the signals of how the foundation of their friendship has never waivered, but instead continues to grow!
Maid of Honor
Morgan and Rylie met on their first day of high school and instantly became best friends. They attended every high school dance together and have gotten ready together a countless number of times (in high school, college, and post-college). Since Rylie moved across the country, Morgan and Rylie have a weekly call that lasts at least an hour, usually to talk about nothing at all.
Groomsman
Sami and Jishnu first met freshman year of college, but it’s clear that the universe messed up, because they clearly were meant to have met much earlier. They, along with the college friend group, share so many interests and outlooks that it doesn’t matter how far apart they are, they’ll always be able to talk like no time has passed. For instance, Sami and Jishnu are heavily invested in sampling various types of animal milk in order of ascending fat content (whale milk is the crème de la crème).
Bridesmaid
Morgan’s cousin, but she’s basically a sister. Morgan and Mackenzie loved their sleepovers together growing up, almost much as they loved messing with their brothers. Mackenzie has encouraged Morgan to try all types of new crafts, from crocheting to embroidery. Growing up so close to each other, it only makes sense that Mackenzie would marry a Sam, and Morgan would marry a Sami!
Groomsman
The rando-roomie who became the best-froomie a guy could have. That first bite of a shared BBQ plate while playing Star Wars Battlefront the first night in their dorm is a memory forever etched into Sami’s brain. It led to so many late nights of just talking and hanging out. So many early-adult experiences (whether in the right state of mind or not) were had while these two were young college students. Every time they’re with each other, it’s all laughs and a great time.
Bridesmaid
Morgan’s most successful Bumble BFF story. From swiping right on a friends-version of Bumble to being in Morgan’s wedding, Sydni has made a huge impact on Morgan’s life in a very short amount of time. Morgan and Sydni enjoy their cocktail nights, trips to Home Goods, and vacations to Tampa and Savannah (and of course, visiting with Sydni’s dog, Myla).
Groomsman
The enigma, the menace, and one of the kindest, most fun people Sami has ever had the privilege of knowing. Sami and Jack might as well be peanut butter and jelly with the way they go together so smoothly. Whether it’s a night out having fun, going on amazing trips with him, or having the opportunity to serve as one of his very own groomsmen at his beautiful wedding with Innia, Sami cherishes every moment he has with Jack, because they are so worthwhile and meaningful.
Bridesmaid
Morgan’s sorority sister. Morgan and Niki started becoming close friends through Morgan’s Finsta (remember those?) and since then, they’ve been best friends. In college, Niki loved to find the coolest possible places to bring Morgan to, and Morgan loved to drive them to those places. Now that Niki lives in Boston, Morgan has the best excuse ever to visit her favorite city whenever she wants! Another road trip, perhaps?
Groomsman
Adnan and Sami have known each other since Sami’s inception. Adnan was always the older brother of Sami, and while they both grew up, they had so many moments that probably can’t and shouldn’t be recounted (he won’t forgive Sami for eating the tire off his model car when he was a baby, and that’s pretty valid). Regardless, they’ve always been there for each other through the worst and best of times and will be for years to come.
Bridesmaid
Morgan’s soon-to-be sister-in-law (truly the perfect match for Morgan’s brother). Although Morgan and Kate haven’t known each other long, they have become very close friends. Who else can Morgan talk to about what to wear to a family event? Kate and Morgan have been planning their weddings at the same time, only to get married a month apart from each other!
Groomsman
Sami’s soon-to-be brother-in-law (and Morgan’s brother). An absolutely upstanding, kind, and hilarious person that Sami literally cannot wait to be able to call his brother. Connor has this wild spirit where he can make the most fun out of almost any situation, which is just one of the many traits Sami loves about him. They also both seem to always gravitate towards each other at nearly every gathering, whether it’s a party or hanging out with family. It already feels like they’re family, but Sami can’t wait for it to be the real deal!
Officiant
One of the most benevolent people Sami and Morgan have had the pleasure of befriending. They’ve known him for years and his friendship is one that is truly cherished. He brings so much joy wherever he is. There isn’t a more suitable person we could think of to officiate the most important time of our lives!
