It was Thanksgiving Eve in 2014. Morgan went out with two of her girlfriends that night to see a band playing at Whisky Pete's. She was enjoying the music & sipping her drink when the door opened. Sal came walking into the bar. He immediately caught Morgan’s eye. Sal walked right past her. She then turned to her friend & whispered to her “that guy is cute”. The friend glanced at Sal & then back at Morgan & said are you talking about the guy with the baseball cap at the end of the bar? Morgan said yes! Her friend then said to Morgan “ I know him. Do you want me to talk to him for you?” Being embarrassed, Morgan told her not to say anything to him, but her friend approached him anyway. Morgan’s friend told Sal that Morgan thinks he’s cute & she pointed to Morgan from across the room. Sal & Morgan awkwardly made eye contact for a split second from across the room. Morgan looked away embarrassed. Before Sal could get the courage to approach Morgan, she left the bar. The next morning, Sal contacted Morgan’s friend & asked her for Morgan’s phone number. Morgan & Sal ended up talking & flirting with each other via text & Snapchat for about a year before they officially started dating. It was difficult for them to start a relationship at that point in time since Sal was away at school. He was attending Salve Regina University completing his Senior year in Rhode Island. Morgan was back home in New Jersey completing her Senior year at Caldwell University. Once Sal finished his senior year & came back home to New Jersey, they went on their first date on 01/15/15 & that was just the beginning of their love story.

Six years later after many trips around the world & sharing many special moments together, Sal finally popped the question on 02/13/21. She thought they were just going out to dinner to celebrate Valentines day, but Sal took Morgan to Edgewater near the resturant where they went on their first date. As they were looking over the water into New York City, Sal got on his one knee & asked Morgan to spend the rest of her life with him.
