When should I book my flight?

We recommend booking your flight as early as possible, ideally by September 2025, to secure the best prices and availability.

What airport should I fly into?
Answer
Please book your flights to arrive at Cancún International Airport (CUN), which is approximately a 30-minute drive from the Hyatt Ziva Cancun.

Where should I stay?
Answer
All of our wedding events will be held at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun. We have secured a discounted room block for our guests. Please use the direct booking link to reserve your room at the special rate.

Yes the deadline to book your room is 2/26/26.

Do I get charged for the stay when I book?
Answer
During the booking process, a notification will appear stating that an automatic charge will be made to the credit card. Please disregard this message, as the full stay will be charged to each guest 30 days prior to arrival.

Does the hotel have an incidental fee?
Answer
At check-in, a $10,000 MXN hold will be placed on each guest's credit card. Please note that only credit cards are accepted for this hold, and cash or debit cards will not be accepted. This hold will be released on the day of departure, provided there are no extra charges or incidentals.

Is there additional tax?
Answer
Due to a local tax, all guests are subject to pay a municipal/local tax upon check in of $79 mexican pesos per room per night, the tax applies to all guests and will be charged upon arrival at the hotel. This is additional to the final amount shown into their room confirmation. Please note it is subject to change.

What are the adults only sections at the hotel?

The Turquoize is the adults only rooms section of the hotel. There is a private check in and daily snacks and beverages provided in the private lobby. Each room comes with a personal concierge. Please also note that only guests staying in the Turquoize section will have access to the Rooftop Pool/Punta Vista Bar.

While there are multiple options nearby, in order to attend all wedding events without incurring an additional hotel day pass fee, you must stay at the Hyatt Ziva.

Our wedding is Tropical Cocktail. Think light fabrics and elegant attire suitable for a beach setting. No events will take place in the sand.

Answer
April in Cancún is typically warm and pleasant. Average high temperatures range from 84°F to 86°F (29°C to 30°C), with lows between 72°F to 74°F (22°C to 23°C). Evenings can be cooler, so consider bringing a light wrap or jacket.

Will there be any pre-wedding events?
Answer
Yes! We’re hosting a Welcome Drinks on April 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM. This will be located at Habanero's, the beach side restaurant at the Hyatt Ziva Cancun. Details will be provided closer to the date.

What should I do if I can’t make it?
Answer
We will truly miss you, but completely understand that a destination wedding is not feasible for everyone for a wide range of reasons. Please RSVP as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly and know that we understand and will miss you on our special day.
