The story is one that is simple, yet true. We both became friends and then there were two. We initially met through a group of friends. We where known as the “Mom” and “Dad” of the group. Soon enough, through talking about how old souled we both where and how we where born in the wrong generation, we soon realized just how similar we were. We had both found someone who was maturely on the same page. Through building a bond of friendship, little did we know we where building what was to become the most loving and caring relationship we both had ever found. We soon fell in love and have been in love since.

On the night I decided to propose we ended up going out to the beach for dinner nervously with the ring in pocket. We enjoyed a good dinner on the beach at Flounders. The entire time I wondered how I would actually propose. After dinner, we took a walk on the beach out to the boardwalk. We talked about future plans that we both wanted in life. While walking the boardwalk Morgan jokingly turned around and said to me, “When are you going to propose to me?”. At that point I was stunned for a brief moment and thought to myself, she already knew. So I answered, “Right now.” I proceeded to get down on one knee and pull the ring out of my pocket. She then turned around and was stunned because she had no clue and thought it was a joke until she turned around to see the ring and me down on one knee. She then threw her hands up to her face in surprise and with tears of joy said yes. Then I put the ring on her finger and we hugged in pure joy. From that moment, we where a newly engaged couple.
