The Proposal

5/25/2018

On the Stone Arch bridge in Minneapolis, Ross asked Morgan to be his wife. They were there for his sister’s birthday, with the alibi of taking maternity photos of his sister, and he tucked the ring box into the shaft of his cowboy boot. (He thought Morgan might be suspicious since it was exactly their 3 year anniversary and all–and he was right!) He knelt down and the two were laughing and crying as he asked her to marry him, (laughing because he couldn’t easily get the ring out of his boot). Family waited nearby with champagne & hugs to celebrate these two lovebirds!

How We Met

UW-Stout

These two were first acquainted by a mutual friend in the fall of 2014 at UW-Stout. Ross was babysitting some puppies at his house and Morgan really couldn't turn that one down (or at least couldn't turn down the bottle of alcohol he was about to buy for her). However, this isn't really how their story begins. A few months down the road in the spring of 2015, Ross had saw Morgan walking through the MSC commons one afternoon on her way to class. He yelled out her name saying "Hey Morgan," She glanced but continued to keep walking as if she didn't even hear it (Several months later she admitted she did hear him). Later that day in class, Morgan received a snap chat message from Ross alluding to the fact that he was trying to talk to her. These two continued to talk on and off for the next couple of months and had their first real date at a Jon Pardi concert at the Stout Ale House. Ross officially asked Morgan to be his girlfriend after meeting not just his parents for the first time but half of the Klapperich family in May of 2015. The rest is history....
