You can absolutely dress for a typical, cocktail dress code. If you have anything that you think might be "too flashy" or "too extra" to wear to a wedding... wear it! Think sequins, feathers, velvet and tulle, just keep in mind that our ceremony is in a church. Men, a sport coat, blazer or suit are great options. If you have any questions, text Morgan!
If we are aware of your significant other, we'll include their name or a plus one option on your formal invitation. If you'd like to bring a date who is not listed on your invite, please text us!
Our RSVP cards list dinner as “chicken, steak, fish or vegetarian”. The more detailed descriptions are: • Brick roasted chicken with au gratin potatoes and carrots, • Filet mignon with mashed potatoes and broccolini, •Boston baked scrod with roasted potatoes and green beans, •Eggplant involtini with tomato sauce.
No worries at all! We are hosting this event because we have many friends and family coming in to celebrate with us, and we are eager to see you/thank you for traveling to us. Every guest is welcome and invited, but do not lose any sleep if you can't make it into the city on Friday night. We can't wait to kick off our wedding on a high note...with some oysters!
