Question

Can we bring children

Answer

Unfortunately, this venue has made it clear no children under the age of 16 years old are able to be present due to safety restrictions. Trust us, we love your children, however this is the venues rule.

Question

Does no liquor mean no alcohol?

Answer

NO! Dade county is a dry county. Thankfully Oakleaf cottage has granted us permission to serve beer, and wine. Please be warned, should any liquor be confiscated the police will be called and the service will be ended.

Can we pay for your stay close by?

Answer

Unfortunately we are not able to compensate for people who are outside of same day driving, hotels/housing is your responsibility. Please note, should any issues arise please reach out to me and we can get hotel discounts.

Can we smoke on location?

Answer

In certain smoking areas. Please note, unfortunately marijuana is not allowed.

Pets allowed?

Answer

At the venue yes, however; we personally ask that you don’t bring your animals.

Travel from wedding to reception?

Answer

Thankfully they are being done at the same location. Walking distance!!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We ask that you follow the names listed on the letter. Due to limited seated, we are not allowing extra guest.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, It allows 45 cars and you must shuttle up the hill. There is a sign with further instructions at the location.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We are asking that people arrive 30 minutes before ceremony. Earliest guest can arrive at 5:45

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by September 1st. Otherwise we will consider you a “no show”.

Question

Cell phones?

Answer

We are having an UNPLUGGED ceremony. We Kindly ask that you do not have your phone out during the ceremony. At the reception phones will be allowed and photos can be taken freely.
