Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Morgan Shelly and Pancho Erazo
Here are some recommendations of Things to Do in Richmond while you're in town!

Helen’s Restaurant

2527 West Main Street, Richmond, VA 23220

Helen's is located near Morgan's old apartment and this was a frequent late night DJ spot or brunch destination with friends!

Pizza & Beer of Richmond

2553 West Cary Street, Richmond, VA 23220

Morgan's old apartment was directly above PBR. Great spot for yummy pizza (highly recommend "The Jam") and a wide assortment of beers.

TITLE Boxing Club Richmond

2525 West Cary Street, Richmond, VA 23220
, 8049185856

If you're looking for an awesome work out while you're in town, obviously, we're going to recommend Title Boxing Richmond! Morgan worked at this gym since it's grand opening! Both Pancho and Morgan love boxing together and was an activity they enjoyed together early on in their relationship. ***If you end up signing up for a class, be sure to mention you know Morgan Shelly!

Carytown

Richmond, VA 23221

Daytime: Carytown is full of locally-owned businesses, cute shops, and restaurants. Great place to kill time and stroll around during the day! Night life: If you're looking for a late night dancing spot, Babes of Carytown or New York Deli are always a blast!

Brown's Island

Richmond, VA 23219

Pancho and Morgan's engagement photos were taken at Brown's Island. One of the couple's favorite aspects of Richmond is how outdoor-friendly the downtown area is. We recommend parking at Belle Isle Parking Lot on Tredegar Street and walking around to enjoy the views of the James River. You can cross the bridge and go for a hike or sit in the shade and just enjoy the view.

Buttermilk Trail

Buttermilk Trail, Richmond, VA

The first time Morgan brought Pancho home to Richmond to meet her family, she insisted on taking Pancho to run Buttermilk, "her trail", so he could experience a part of Richmond that was near and dear to her heart. When Morgan lived in Richmond, she ran the Buttermilk Trail a couple times a week and it is a super special place for her.

Casa Del Barco - Canal Walk

320 South 12th Street, Richmond, VA 23219

Lively Mexican restaurant located on the Richmond Canal Walk. While you're waiting for a table, we recommend taking pictures in front of the mural wall across from the restaurant. After you eat, you can walk to Brown's Island too!

The Veil Brewing Co. - Scott’s Addition

1509B Belleville Street, Richmond, VA 23230

Pancho and Morgan both LOVE sour beers! Luckily, the Scott's Addition area in Richmond has lots of sour beer options but The Veil is at the top of their list. If you are a beer lover, we highly recommend hopping around the Scott's Addition breweries. Also recommended: Väsen Brewing Company Buskey Cider Starr Hill Beer Hall & Rooftop

Sticky Rice

2232 West Main Street, Richmond, VA 23220

Sure the sushi is good but the late night karaoke is why Sticky Rice is making the list. If you happen to find yourself extending your stay in Richmond after the wedding, karaoke has been a Sticky event for well over 20 years on Tuesday nights!

The Sidewalk Cafe

2101 West Main Street, Richmond, VA 23220

Post-wedding when you might be hungover, we recommend brunch at The Sidewalk Cafe. Nothing fancy but a Richmond classic. Other brunch recommendations: LuLu's Millie's Diner Tarrant's Cafe Joe's Inn the Fan The Daily Kitchen & Bar Curbside Cafe Helen's Restaurant 821 Cafe LUNCH.SUPPER!

Kabana Rooftop

700 East Main Street, Richmond, VA 23219

Walking distance from the Delta Hotels by Marriott Richmond Downtown is Kabana Rooftop. Great spot for happy hour and a sunset!
