Our story began on Hinge, where Morgan decided to take a chance on Nick despite his questionably curated photos (let's just say, photography isn't his strong suit). But his charm shone brightly through the prompts, so she thought, "Why not?" Meanwhile, Nick, who had been living in London for five months without much success on the app, struck gold when Morgan became his very first match. On May 31st, 2021—the hottest day of the year—Morgan made the effort to walk a full hour to Paddington to meet Nick. In contrast, Nick took the lift downstairs to the bar conveniently located beneath his building. Over drinks at Brewdog in Paddington Basin, they chatted away, and after a delightful walk along the canals, they ended up at Zizzi for a meal. As they headed back upstairs to grab a jacket (it was getting a bit breezy, after all), they shared their first kiss in the lift. After a short walk, they went their separate ways, but both knew this was something special. Morgan was thoroughly impressed by Nick's flat, assuming he must be doing rather well for himself (Chelsea boots and a swanky flat? Tick, tick!), while Nick was thrilled to find that Morgan shared his passion for Dairy Milk Giant Chocolate Buttons. Since that day, they’ve been inseparable, meeting each other's friends and family, and enjoying countless adventures together. And the rest, as they say, is history!

We planned a special trip to Rhodes for Nick's birthday, and Morgan, ever the planner, arranged for a cake and a bottle of bubbly at the hotel. The cake didn’t last past day one, but the bubbly was saved for Nick's actual birthday. On the big day, we spent most of it on a boat cruise, soaking up the sun. Back at the hotel, while Morgan was in the shower, Nick frantically searched for a spot to secretly film the proposal, finally settling on the balcony. Morgan, always multitasking, decided to do her makeup outside to let her hair dry naturally in the evening air, which threw a spanner in Nick's plans. Thankfully, she moved back inside, giving Nick his chance. He lured her to the balcony with the promise of “one last birthday present,” and when she stepped outside, there he was, down on one knee. Although Morgan had suspected a proposal might happen, she was completely surprised that Nick chose his birthday for the big moment. She instinctively covered her face with her hands, making Nick momentarily panic that she might say no, but of course, she said yes!
