We are requesting a 'soft' RSVP, meaning if you are certain you will, or will not be, in attendance, please let us know as far in advance as possible. For those who are confirmed or have not responded, you will receive an official paper invitation in the mail closer to the date.
Our wedding will be black tie attire. This includes men to wear tuxedos and women to wear floor-length gowns or sophisticated cocktail dresses. We encourage both plain colors or patterns, but we kindly ask NO black or white dresses/gowns.
For our special day, we've decided to keep our wedding to no children (under the age of 12), so everyone can fully relax and enjoy the wedding festivities with us. We hope you'll take this as a chance for a special date night!
The welcome party will be held on a sunset cruise along the Seine river the day prior (Friday evening). The ceremony and reception are both being held at a chateau, with the ceremony being outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception following both indoors/outdoors.
We recommend you stay in a hotel in the city of Paris. This will allow you to be close to the access of the Friday welcome party Seine river cruise. The chateau in which we will host our wedding ceremony and reception on Saturday is a 35 min drive from Paris. More details on hotels and transportation to come! The wedding weekend will consist of a Friday evening welcome party and an all-day Saturday ceremony and reception. It is advisable you plan your trip to Paris Thursday, July 30 through Sunday, August 2. If possible, we recommend extending your trip so you can visit all the magnificent attractions Paris has to offer. Please visit the 'Things To Do' page on our website for our favorites!
