FAQs

Question

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Official paper invitations were mailed out at the beginning of April. Final RSVP's are due by Mid-June (June 15). If you are certain you will/will not be in attendance, feel free to RSVP as far in advance as possible. This helps us better plan our big day!

Question

What is the dress code for the welcome party, wedding ceremony & reception?

Answer

Please see the separate tab labeled 'Attire' for more information.

Question

How do we get to/from Chateau Bouffemont?

Answer

Transportation will be provided for all guests in Paris, even if you're not staying at the hotel block. Shuttles will run from the Le Grand Hôtel Cayré (listed under 'Travel') to/from the Chateau. There will be two returning shuttles to Paris at midnight and 2:30 am. It takes roughly one hour from Le Grand Hôtel Cayré to Château Bouffémont.

Question

Are babies/children invited?

Answer

For our special day, we've decided to keep our wedding to no children (under the age of 12), so everyone can fully relax and enjoy the wedding festivities with us. We hope you'll take this as a chance for a special date night!

Question

Will the wedding festivities be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The welcome boat party will be held Friday evening on a sunset river cruise along the Seine. The ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and reception are all being held at Château Bouffémont. Weather permitting, the ceremony will take place outdoors and the reception following both indoors/outdoors.

Question

Where and how long should I stay?

Answer

Please see 'Travel' tab for hotel accommodations in the city of Paris. Transportation will be provided from the Le Grand Hôtel Cayré to/from the Chateau. It is advisable you plan your trip to Paris Thursday, July 30 through Sunday, August 2. If possible, we recommend extending your trip so you can visit all the magnificent attractions Paris has to offer. Please visit the 'Things To Do' page on our website for our favorites!
