Morgan met Nathan in 2019 when he showed up at the door of her college apartment—some would say it was fate. They both attended Saint Mary’s College of California, and you could often find them at the baseball field, where Morgan watched Nathan pitch. They “officially” started dating on March 25, 2020, and during the pandemic, they used that time to truly get to know one another. Long walks, card games, puzzles, and plenty of wine quickly became their favorite way to spend time together. In 2021, Morgan and Nathan were able to walk the graduation stage together in front of the chapel at Saint Mary’s. Morgan and Nathan were long distance for years while Nathan pursued his master's degree and played baseball and Morgan lived by the beach in San Diego. They spent much of their time traveling to see one another in different parts of California. Though miles separated them, their commitment to each other never wavered. The intentional effort they put into their relationship during this time created a solid foundation as they knew no amount of distance could stand in the way of their love. You could often find them at a country concert, at a winery, or at the airport. Along the way, they camped at six national parks and explored Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Tennessee, and Georgia. Their adventures even took them across the ocean to Europe, where they visited Florence, Rome, Milan, and Venice. No matter the destination, they simply love discovering new places side by side. In February of 2025, Nathan asked Cathy and Howard for their blessing. With tears in their eyes, Cathy replied, “Of course,” while Howard said, “Take care of my girl,” knowing full well that Nathan was the only one who ever could. In June of 2025, Nathan and Morgan returned to V. Sattui Winery—the very first winery they visited together years earlier on their six-month anniversary. Morgan thought they were simply wine tasting with friends, but to her surprise, Nathan had planned the most perfect proposal. She was even more surprised to discover that their immediate family members from both sides were there to celebrate the moment with them. It was a day filled with love, joy, and unforgettable memories. They are incredibly grateful for the love and support of their family and friends throughout their journey and cannot wait to celebrate with all of you at their wedding. Cheers to a lifetime of love!
