Question

What time should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

We encourage guests to arrive at 5:30pm. This will allow for sufficient time to navigate the castle and be seated for our ceremony. Upon arrival, you’re welcome to explore the front of the Castle, inside the Great Hall and to enjoy our pre-ceremony music. Please note that doors for our Ceremony will close promptly at 5:50 p.m, after which no further entry will be permitted. Late comers will be asked to wait outside the conservatory until the ceremony has concluded.

When should I RSVP?

We ask that you please return your RSVP by May 15th, 2025.

How do I submit my RSVP?

Answer

Click the "RSVP" button on the home page (below the “How We Met” story), or by going into the "RSVP" tab. Simply type in your first and last name, after which you’ll be given the option to RSVP for yourself and any other guests invited with you.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We would like to celebrate our wedding intimately, with our closest family and friends. We regretfully ask that our guests not bring a date unless they are named on the wedding invitation. We appreciate your understanding.

Can I bring my children?

Answer

Although we adore your little ones, this evening will be an adult-focused celebration. We hope you can appreciate that only children of immediate family may be accommodated.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, parking is available on-site at no cost to our guests.

When should I confirm my meal selection?

Answer

Your meal selection must be confirmed in the "RSVP" tab by May 15th, 2025.

When should I book my hotel?

Answer

We recommend booking your lodging as soon as you’re able to RSVP. Our discounted wedding block rates are only available until May 15th, 2025. Our wedding takes place on the Canada Day long weekend and Pride Weekend, and so we anticipate limited availability and increased rates as the date approaches.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding ceremony?

We invite you to be fully-present with us during our nuptials by way of an unplugged ceremony. Kindly keep your phones and personal recording devices shut off throughout our ceremony. Professional photos and videos of the day will be shared at a later date. Photos and videos from your personal devices are welcome immediately after the ceremony.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Enjoy unlimited beverages and cocktails from our open bar as you dance the night away!

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be located indoors, whereas the cocktail hour will be hosted partially outdoors on the castle’s East terrace.

Do you have a gift registry?

Answer

Your support and attendance is the greatest gift we could ask for! In the years we’ve lived together, we’ve filled our small home with necessities and currently lack the storage for more. If you would still like to honour our marriage with a gift, a contribution to our future family home or honeymoon would be accepted graciously.

Is your cash registry set up digitally?

Answer

Our cash gift registry is not set up digitally. To avoid technical difficulties, a card/gift box will be available at our wedding welcome table where we would graciously accept gifts of cash or cheques.

Do I still need to send my RSVP if I’ve told the bride, groom and/or family that I’m attending

Answer

Yes! We ask that you please still submit your RSVP via our website RSVP portal. The RSVP portal is a centralized system that stores all RSVP details for us to easily share with our vendors, including your entree selections and any allergies. If we do not receive your formal RSVP by May 15th, we’ll unfortunately assume that you will not be attending and your presence will be missed.
