We decided to meet for dinner after talking online for awhile. The first thing I ever said to Michael was, "I'm sorry I'm late!" So, he got a quick introduction to my poor time management skills! Our conversation was great! We discovered so many shared interests. He eventually brought up his weekly game night sessions of Dungeons and Dragons. I exclaimed that I had always wanted to learn to play, and that's what sealed the deal!

Wow! Did he put a lot of time into orchestrating this one! When Michael and I started talking about getting married, I told him that he needed to make sure I looked nice when he proposed. I wanted to look good for a moment I am going to remember forever! Michael came up with this elaborate plan, that we were going to a charity gala that one of our friends relatives was putting on. I bought a new dress, new shoes, even a new purse! He even coordinated with my mother to make sure I went and got my nails done! So, I get all ready to go to the gala, walk out into the living room, and he gets down on one knee! There was never any gala, he had made dinner reservations at one of our favorite restaurants. I couldn't believe it!
