When you RSVP, there will be a list below your name of who all is included/invited in your party (either names, or it will list the plus ones as "guest"). Although we wish that we could offer a plus one (or two, or three, or five!) to all of our guests, we have a strict guest list to stay on budget and to not exceed our limited venue space. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!
As I mentioned in the question above, we do have limited budget and space, and your "invited list" is within your RSVP on the website. We did our best to include as many close family members' children, but unfortunately we just don't have the space for everyone (Plus, we want you to be able to kick back, relax, and partayyy!).
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30pm, so we kindly request that you arrive 30 minutes prior to assure that you don't miss anything! This will also give you time to park, sign our guest book, and find your seats. We want to make sure all of the people we love (that's you!) are seated and there to witness our full ceremony!
Yes! We've got space for everyone to park. We will have people guiding you to parking spots as you arrive. But, this is our family's private property, and we (unfortunately) don't have a fully paved, organized parking lot. So if possible, consider carpooling!
It's not everyday that you get to dress up! The two of us will definitely be in our best clothes, but we request that our guests dress semi-formal. For men, we suggest a suit, blazer, or button down with pants or your "going out" jeans ;) For women, a dress, jumpsuit, or dressy separates would all work.
We aren't picky! But, if you'd like, we do invite you to join us in wearing our wedding colors, which include colors like light sage, lavender, dusty blue, and light orange (You can find a photo of these colors in the gallery tab on this website). For photo's sake, we just ask that you refrain from wearing extremely vibrant colors.
Please feel free to take all the photos you'd like before and after the ceremony! We have hired a professional photographer to capture our special day and ask that you do not use your cell phones or take photos during the ceremony. However, you are more than welcome to take photos and videos of the rest of the night! In fact, we'll have information on your tables of how to take photos and upload them for us to see! We are excited to see the day from our loved ones' point of view :)
Our ceremony and reception are all happening in the same property, just different locations within. After we say "I do," we'll take a short walk to our reception building, and we welcome you to enjoy a cocktail hour where we'll serve drinks and light hors d'oeuvres. We will take our seats for dinner at 6:00.
We will have select soda, water, beer, and signature drinks at the reception that we invite our guests to *free*ly enjoy. For dinner: smoked meat, salad, cheesy potatoes, and lots of sweets for dessert! Our reception is set to end around 9:30, but we can continue to celebrate on a more "low-key" scale once the DJ packs up.
