Morgan and Matt first met back when Morgan transferred to Bay Shore Middle School in 7th Grade. They have always been good friends with a bit of a spark but it was about finding the right timing. At the end of July 2020, Matt's family rented a beach house in Kismet, Fire Island down the street from Morgan. On a beach walk, Matt asked Morgan to dinner. When looking back, the date was kind of a disaster- Morgan spilled a drink, ordered lobster tacos not knowing Matt is very allergic and then got her jumpsuit stuck in her bike on the way home- but both of them thought it was perfect. From the first dinner, neither of them looked back- even when Morgan left in September for a cross country road trip for a whole month. They talked every day and as soon as she arrived home, neither of them asked if it was official, they just knew.

In between two fantastic weddings, Matt and Morgan had planned a trip to Napa. Morgan thought she had planned the perfect itinerary but had no clue what Matt had hiding in his bag from New York to Indiana to California. After a wine tour at Far Niente, Matt said "Let's take a picture on that bridge". Morgan not one to say no to photos, quickly hopped up. Darlene, the sommelier, snapped the first picture and Matt said "Hold on, let me fix my jacket!" then was suddenly down on one knee. After a very loud "What are you doing?! OH MY GOD" from Morgan there was a very happy YES! Since 2020, Matt and Morgan have had many wonderful adventures but are so excited for this next chapter and to share it with all the special people in their lives!
