Our Wedding Story
Our original plan was to get married at the Courthouse, but the Soldier's Chapel and Big Sky will forever have a very special place in our hearts.
Long story short--we planned for Bucky's parents Mark and Marilyn to be at our ceremony as they will not be able to join us in the Caribbean, but then Morgan's parents booked tickets to come into town for skijoring and the decision was made to "semi-elope."
It's a small town, so we were able to get in touch with the Chapel's caretaker, who also happens to be the first baby baptized there and the grandson of the founder. So rather than getting married in the parking lot in thigh deep snow as we originally planned, we were able to have a beautiful intimate extremely last-minute ceremony and be included in the book of weddings that have taken place there since the Chapel was founded in 1956.
