Lillie and Morgan met on Lillie's first day as a zipline guide at Tamarack Resort, where Morgan had worked her way up to Director of Guest and Recreational Services over the course of 7 years. Over the following weeks, they started getting to know each other, cracking jokes and stealing smiles. While they both kept their distance initially, sparks were flying!

On July 8th, 2023, they had their first date. Lillie asked Morgan to join her on an ATV ride to a nearby fire lookout, and Morgan showed up with a full picnic packed to bring with them. When they got to the base of the mountain, it started to rain. Lillie (who was driving), looked back at Morgan and asked if she wanted to keep going, and of course, the answer was yes. They raced up the mountain together, laughing as they reached the top and sun broke through the clouds. They sat and looked over the valley together, eventually heading back down to enjoy a drink and the rest of their picnic on the deck of the cabin where Lillie was living. The evening was filled with laughter, conversation, and realizations that the person in front of them may be the one they were looking for all these years. The engagement photos featured on this website were taken in the same spot they had their first date.

Lillie and Morgan ended up spending the rest of that July apart on separate summer travels, all the while talking on the phone as much as possible, learning about each other and dreaming about the future they might build together. Once they were reunited again, they wasted no time and started dating July 30th, 2023. From that moment on, they were inseparable.

They spent the following year and a half building a life together. Lillie moved in that October, quickly and easily falling into a routine together. The house they shared together became a home, met each others family (and fit right in), and started traveling. They've been to 5 countries, multiple US states, and found that making new memories and seeing new places together is one of their favorite things to do. In their small town of Donnelly, Idaho, the pair spent their time working on their fixer-upper cottage, going to the lake, skiing, snowboarding, and enjoying the beautiful place where they put down roots.

Morgan proposed to Lillie on December 8th, 2024, after spending the day in the woods looking for their Christmas tree. In January, Lillie proposed as well, getting down on one knee after surprising Morgan with a home-cooked meal (Morg teaching Lil to cook having been one of their ongoing nightly traditions). Settling on a summer 2026 wedding early into their engagement, they spent the first few months of 2025 enjoying their new engagement!

Since their engagement, the pair has continued to grow together as a couple and solidify their life together in Donnelly, adopting their two children (cats) Anakin and Ahsoka, working on their house, and Morgan working at a local startup. Their frequent flyer status continued, the two traveling to the Bahamas, Costa Rica, Donner Lake (where the wedding will be), Cape Cod, and Lake Winnipesaukee. They have been enjoying wedding planning, looking forward to what the next year will bring both individually and as a couple!
