Morgan and Leigh met through Hinge (a dating app). Leigh initiated the conversation with "Hey Morgan, How's it going?" Looking back, this was just Leigh being Leigh - casual and authentic. At the time though, Morgan thought "Really? He couldn't be bothered to say anything personal or interesting?!" Luckily for Leigh, she noticed he was from England, that his name was spelled the same way as her middle name (an uncommon spelling for men) and was curious if that was typical in his county. So... she responded. From there, the conversation never stopped flowing!

Leigh and Morgan met up at Bab's Underground Lounge in downtown Ann Arbor for their first date. Leigh stood outside on the sidewalk, waiting for Morgan. He thought he spotted her walking down the block, but then she disappeared. Morgan thought she spotted Leigh too, but was confused because the door to the bar was in a different spot than she remembered. So, she ducked into another business to double check the address. Leigh jokes it's because Morgan tried to dip out of the date when she saw him. Morgan swears that is not true! haha.

Leigh proposed to Morgan in the ballroom of the Beast's castle at Disney World, her dream come true! Morgan's friend, Annie, was also on the trip and filmed the special moment for the two of them (see video above). Before the trip, Annie had tricked Morgan into believing a proposal was specifically NOT going to happen, so she wouldn't be suspicious. And she wasn't, until they arrived at the restaurant and Annie started acting really strange... From there, the details of the proposal kind of fell apart (and ended up being pretty funny). In the end, Leigh presented the ring to Morgan in a Disney World castle ornament that opened up and read "Will you marry me?"
