We met junior year of high school! 7 years ago, after Kory got switched by chance into my history class and was sat behind me! After a month of friendly talking Kory asked me on a date for Valentine's day where we ate at Chick-fil-a (which is where he worked at) and we shared an awkward first kiss outside the bowling ally. The date ended with Kory asking me to be his girlfriend where I said no... thankfully we kept talking after that and that's when Kory informed me that he would not be asking me again and if I changed my mind I would have to ask him. February 17th 2018 I asked Kory to be my boyfriend.

October 14th 2022 is when Kory asked me to spend the rest of our lives together. The days leading up he took me to get my nails done, where I chose an awful blue color so we promptly went across the street and got them redone. A few days later Kory took me on a trip to California and right when we arrived at my brother's house (where we were staying) I broke my nail in the car door. Not knowing of Kory's surprise proposal he was not very happy so the following day he took me to get my nails done AGAIN which turned out to be the prettiest nails I have ever done. One of the days of our trip Kory took me on a surprise adventure to Malibu where his family paid for our hotel room. After eating at a restaurant way out of our price range and nice dip in the pool we got all dressed up and went down to the beach where Kory had a surprise photographer waiting for us. After the proposal and the hour long photoshoot of us afterwards we drove to Santa Monica and had a nice dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. If you know Kory you know he isn't the best at geography so ever since then when talking about our engagement story he tells everyone we got engaged in Miami! He is so funny!
