While we'd thought that *surely* by Spring 2021, it would be safe to gather together for a wedding, unfortunately, that isn't shaping up to be the case. In the interest of safety and sanity, we're decided to move the date of our wedding one last time, to August 27th, 2022. The venue, Adeline Farms, in Woodland, WA, will remain the same. Thanks for your ongoing patience and flexibility, we love you all. Love, Morgan & Kate
We’re excited to announce a new date and location for our wedding: Saturday, May 8th, 2021 at Adeline Farms in Woodland, Washington! Keep your eye on the snail mail box for a “Change the Date” announcement. Sending love and wishing good health to all! K&M
In light of guidelines detailed by Gov. Kate Brown restricting large gatherings through September 2020, it’s become clear the date of our wedding must be changed. While the change is dissappointing, its’s a mild inconvenience compared to the real challenges so many are grappling with. Currently, we’re looking at potential dates in April and May, and we plan to send out new “Change the Date” postcards as soon as we can. We hope everyone’s families are feeling well, and look forward to seeing you soon!
Hello family and friends! We hope everyone is feeling healthy and hopeful about prospect of returning to some degree of normalcy in the coming months. At present, it’s still unclear what timeline can reasonably be expected with respect to “reopening the country.” We plan to observe guidelines put in place for the summer months, so the uncertainty presents a significant challenge with respect to deciding whether or not to reschedule the wedding. Given what little information we have, we’ve decided that it seems best to hold off on making a definitive decision on the matter until the first week of June. Hopefully by that time we’ll have a sense for whether bans on larger social gatherings at the state park will remain in place on 8/29/20. Thann you for your patience! Love, Morgan & Kate
